The Game Redesign Project aimed to enhance a mobile gaming store app for my Master's degree in UX/UI Design. The focus was on improving usability and visual appeal, addressing user pain points, and aligning the design with gaming community expectations.

GAME.es is a leading video game retail chain in Spain, offering a wide range of new and pre-owned games, consoles, accessories, and collectibles. With both physical stores and an online platform, it serves a diverse gaming community and features trade-in programs, loyalty rewards, and engaging events, making it a popular choice for gamers in Spain.

Problem

The existing app suffers from a poor user experience, primarily due to a cluttered menu with repeated elements. This design flaw causes confusion, making it challenging for users to find the information they need. Additionally, poor usability hampers efficiency, leading to user frustration and potential abandonment of the app.
